By the mid-1990s, more and more metal groups began to appear on the American scene. One of them was collected by the drummer, and part-time and vocalist Brad Arnold, Basist Todd Harrell and guitarist Matt Roberts, starting the history of the creation of a team in 1996.
Guitarist Chris Henderson joined the team after 2 years from the date of its formation. Came at the invitation of Harrell, with whom he was familiar long before this event. And in 2000, Richards Lils, who played on the drums, was joined by the musicians, truth, in the group he stayed for a long time - until 2002.
His place was quickly taken by the Canadian drummer Daniel Adair. A new participant lasted 3 years, in 2005 he was replaced by Greg Apurchhch. Since no longer needed in the drummer, the soloist Arnold could afford only on singing and since 2000 finally left the game on the drums.
In 2012, the incredible bassist 3 doors down, which was with the group from the very beginning of its foundation, announced care. The reason for this was his disease that required immediate treatment and did not allow a more man to lead the former lifestyle. Cet Roberts was invited to his place, before that, the musician had already performed with guys on tour in Brazil as a session artist.
Music
The first in rotation is the track "Kryptonite". Young people did not count on success, but, contrary to their concerns, the song quickly finds his listeners and becomes the most ordered for 15 weeks. Without losing time, they start writing songs for the "The Better Life" album. His release was held in early 2000.For young artists, it was a dizzying success, no one expected an excitement from the first album. In many ways, several songs contributed to this, they included the tracks "Duck and Run", "Loser" and Kryptonite. And another single "BE LIKE THAT" in 2001, the musicians were overwritten for comedy tape "American Pie".
The second record called "Away From The Sun" was represented by listeners in 2002, the single "Here Without You. Although 3 Doors Down did not change the genre of music and the usual style of execution, there are many slow songs on the disk.
Another full-length album "Seventeen Days" Musicians presented to listeners in 2005. On the first lines of charts immediately hit the songs "Behind Those Eyes" and "Let ME GO". In 2006, a clip was removed on the Landing In London track.
The Fourth Studio Disc "3 Doors Down" appeared in the spring of 2008. In his support, the musicians specifically record the songs "Citizen / Soldier", IT's Not My Time, TRAIN and LET ME BE MYSELF, all became singles and twisted on leading US radio stations for a long time.
In January 2011, the musicians presented to fans a new single, called "WHEN YOU'RE YOUNG". His listeners were appreciated, a great demand for the song allowed her to get into the Chart Billboard Hot 100. In May of the same year, the "Round and Round" and "Heaven" hits came out. These songs came to the new album "Time of My Life", the release of which took place in July.
The release of the next album was postponed several times, as a result, the "US and The Night" plate was presented only in 2016. The long-awaited exit was accompanied by the sad news of the death of Guitarist Matt Roberts in August 2016. It happened due to overdose of drugs.
