Anthony Yard was born on August 13, 1991 in London. The boy of African origin since childhood was sporty gifted. He played football well, basketball, engaged in throwing the nucleus and could run 100 meters in less than 11 seconds. Not without injury. At the training session, Anthony broke his finger and could not go normally. He remembers that he was empty at that moment.
The coaches noticed a promising 16-year-old guy and called to the London Rugby Team "Harlekowins". But it did not work out - the athlete admits that the game "did not understand."
At first, the guy did not show interest in boxing. The passion for this sport began with the battles of Makla Tyson, who regularly broadcast on TV. Yard was amazed as a small tyson knocked out rivals, and wanted to master this skill. The mother of the future boxer was not delighted with his son's passion, counting boxing dangerous and cruel. But when Anthony was 18, he persuaded his parents to allow him to train.

In 2011, Anthony Yard through a common friend met with the trainer Tunde Adayai. This is a fateful meeting in the biographies of Boxer. He admits that this tandem is based on mutual understanding and respect. Adayai became the first to whom he could trust the yard, not counting his mother.
