In 1996, in the courtyard of a multi-storey building, located in the capital of Bashkiria, Ufa, gathered teenagers who had the initial skills of the guitar game. To the displeasure of the neighbors, the nights of the guys with faster voices sang songs of Russian and foreign performers, picking up a melody and chords by hearing.
These calm recovers were high school students Denis Shahanov, Igor Mamaev and Rustem Bulatov on nicknamed Tam.
Speaking in front of peers with the compositions of "Temop", "Alice", "Cinema" and "Civil Defense", young people caught fire to become famous rockers and began to seek free rehearsal premises.

In the late 1990s, the classic rock band on generally accepted opinion was supposed to consist of vocalist, bass player, drummer and at least one guitar. The next chapter in the history of the creation of a collective, called Lumen, was the compilation of a short music program and participation in youth and student competitions and festivals.
In 1999-2000, the guys received the main prize of the Republican competition "Golden Standard", became participants in the festivals "We together" and "Stars of the XXI century" and spoke with a solo concert on the stage of one of the Ufa cinemas.
Music
Professional career of the LUMEN group began in 2002 with the exit of the album "Live in Navigator Club", recorded during a lively speech at the local club "Navigator" sound engineer Vladislav Savutayev.Among the compositions of the compositions, there was one that fell on the broadcast of Our Radio and for 2 weeks held a worthy place in the leading ten. With the support of producer Vadima Basev, Lumen assembled the material for the album "Three Ways" and again fell into the charts of Russian radio stations. The success of the plate containing the tracks "Dream", "Sleep me!", "Protest" and "Good Time", allowed the musicians to go to the National Tour and become chadliners of prestigious regional festivals.
To the end, not realizing its own popularity, in 2005, TEM and the company recorded new compositions "Blagoveshchensk" and "do not rush" and included them in a living album called "one blood", and after a few months, a full-fledged studio plate was followed by the Live version. Breathe ". For incomprehensible reasons, the "state" capital track was not in demand in the radio, but still received distribution due to a professionally removed video clip broadcasting on the air "A-One" channel.
However, despite recognition, the group could not find sponsors and worked exclusively on its own funds received from the organizers of the tour and selling CDs. In this regard, the record of the next record passed as soon as possible and took many moral and physical forces from the musicians.
Nevertheless, after the release of the album "True?", Which became immortal thanks to the powerful text and vocals in the tracks "while you slept" and "burn", Lumen attracted additional forces in the face of the bass guitarist Evgeny Schmel Trishin and went on touring in Russian cities.
After the main concert at the Moscow club "B1 MAXIMUM", the Ufa team won the "Best Young Group" category according to the Fuzz Music magazine, and then won the nomination: the album and group of the year at the awards ceremony of the A-One television channel.
In the late 2000, the musicians came to the international level, performing a concert program "Storm" in the CIS countries and appearing at the St. Petersburg Tuborg Greenfest in the company of famous Linkin Park. Their music has become so recognizable that the creators of the cult film "On the game" used as the Soundtrack the "Run" composition, which sounded on the "Peace" and "storm" DVDs.
Without stopping at what happened, Lumen continued to record concert albums and shoot video clips. The break occurred only in 2012, when a soloist and other participants needed a time to carefully sort the accumulated material and selection of songs for a new studio record.
However, the group could not have long to lead a magnificent life and in the summer appeared before the public at the "charter dozen" and the other largest Russian festivals, and on October 1, 2012 he posted 12 songs on the official site from the new album "on the part." Almost immediately after the Lumen presentation, Lumen went on tour, during which it was announced that in less than a year later discography will be replenished with the seventh studio record under the working name "No time for love".
Despite the fact that in 2000-2010, the Group reached the peak of popularity, the musicians were not accused and showed care for beginner colleagues. They twice declared a creative contest for young performers and created a special training program for selection and arrangements of songs. The results of this activity Rustem with colleagues were repeatedly voiced in an interview with popular publications, and the most active participants awarded valuable gifts and prizes.
At the same time, the musicians were ripe for cooperation with other Russian rock teams and recorded the compositions "And we are not angels, a guy" and "our names" together with colleagues from the B-2 groups, "Agatha Christie" and "porn movies".
Interacting with the audience, live and via the Internet, musicians with the help of the Planeta.ru project collected funds for the new studio album and at the end of 2016 submitted to the public a record called "Chronicle of Mad Days".
LUMEN group now
2019 year LUMEN began with the presentation of the "Cult of Empty" song at the CHARTOV SHAIN Award ceremony. According to the results of the voting, the musicians received a "soloist of the year" reward, which became a good addition to the prizes for the best album, the best release and others.
On March 22, a premiere demonstration of a single called "For those who bike land," and in April, a complete release of absolutely new EP appeared in the network, where, in addition to the tracks mentioned, the Neuroshunte and Flying Compositions were entered.
