In the history of the creation of a duet, Vince Clark played a key role. The guy still a teenager fell in love with e-music, inspired by the OMD group. A little later, he became one of the founders of the legendary Depeche Mode and the only author of their first three singles, including Hit Just Can't Get Enough. At the end of 1981, Vince left the team and created the duet Yazoo. Despite the success of the project, disagreements between the participants did not give him to develop.
Clark has a short-lived creative union with Eric Radcliffe and several records of failed songs. All this led to the fact that the musician had to apply to the British Melody Maker on the search for vocalist. Critics were outraged by the unexpected ascent of the guys on Olympus. One of them compared Andy's vocals with "Taking a dog in Prairie", expressing the song Drama! And in the meantime, the duet has already performed on large platforms in space costumes and with decorations of the striking scale. Andy and Vince were able to conquer the audience with outrage and an unusual show.

Erasure was toured at the international level in 2011. It was one of the longest tours and included a visit to some places for the first time, including Russia and Ukraine. In the fall of 2015, to celebrate the 30th anniversary in the music industry, Erasure has released an updated version of Sometimes in the form of a new album called Always: The Very Best of Erasure.
Erasure now
The group continues to work and rejoice fans now. The new plate Erasure announced in 2019 in "Instagram", on the page of which the photo and video from concerts is divided. The event is timed to the 35th anniversary of the team, so the Wild album has become an extended version of 2 disks.
Vince Clark with his wife Tracy live in Brooklyn, in his own home the musician built a recording studio and posted a collection of synthesizers. Andy Bell in 2013 married Stephen Moss.
