Blue Foundation is a musical team founded by Danish performers. The group works in the electronics genre, creating melodic tracks, in the sound of which the influence of styles such as try-hop, jazz, pop rock, dub, soul, lounge. The team has achieved international success - its songs were used in the soundtracks of several popular American series and full-length films.The history of creation and composition
The history of the creation of Blue Foundation takes up a year before the new millennium. Dane Tobias Wilner together with Brother Anders Berrtram released the first single Wiseguy & Hollywood, which marked the beginning of the activities of the music team. In the sound of musical compositions of beginners, the influence of their senior colleagues MY Bloody Valentine, Stereolab, Broadcast and others was guessed.
A vocalist becomes Drank Kirstina Stubbe Teglberg. Already at the initial stage of the formation to the composition of the group, a multi-instrumentalist Boyframe was joined, which in a duet with Tobias and today is the backbone of the team. Bo does not limit himself only with Blue Foundation projects.
He also participates in the creation of the songs of The William Blakes, playing as part of the Mames Babegenush orchestra, with which concerts in Carnegie Holle, in the capital of Argentina and the cities of Europe. The musician perfectly owns the game on the pipe, as a guest performer participated in the recording of musical compositions of European teams Mew, Apparatjik, Efterklang, etc.
In 2003, in addition to Copenhagen, the second rehearsal base appears in the group. She is located in Brooklyn. Then the team signed a contract with Emi / Warner Music label. Later in the US, the group tracks were produced on the basis of the Astralwerks label. Blue Foundation does not limit itself by one makeup, constantly experimenting with sound, Tobias and Bo invite musicians from different countries to cooperate. At one time, Tatsuki Oshima, MC Jabber, Lasse Herbst, Andres Walleng and others became participants in the creative team.
In addition to the Blue Foundation Group, Tobias Wilner creates musical compositions within the Bichi Side Project. These are instrumental tracks, some of which later enters the repertoire of the main project of the artist.
Wilner does not limit himself only with musical creativity, experiments with the camera, creating copyright photos and removing alternative video. He founded his own film studio. Information about your biography of the musician does not advertise: it is enough creative communication with the army of fans. But it is known that the Dane is married, raises two daughters.
In 2008, the Group founded his own label Dead Peoples Choice (DPC Records), with which several albums released, including a remix plate. In 2009, a vocalist Kirstina Stubbe Teglberg left the group and took up the solo career. She successfully replaced Sarah Savorery, vocalist and a film composer. Later, the team included the Italian drummer Federico Ugi and the American singer Sonya Kitchell, the Grammy Prize winner.
Music
Two years after the creation of Blue Foundation, a debut album appeared, the name of the group named. In the track list, the plates hit the songs WiseGuy, Grand, Witch of Trouble and others.The second album of the Sweep of Days group, which appeared in 2004, received the status of gold, and the Sweep composition came to the music of the film "Miami Police: Department of Malls". The song Bonfires (We're Feeling) also uses popularity. Hit received particularly fame in Ukraine - he was used in the musical accompaniment to the TV series "Trees".
In 2007, the team discography was replenished with a new Life of A Ghost plate, which entered one of the most popular Eyes On Fire tracks. The song was used in the soundtracks at once two cult vampire projects - the film "Twilight. Saga. New Moon "and the series" Vampire Diaries ".
In 2011, the Canadian Duet Zeds Dead introduced a remix on this song. Also in the album entered Watch You Sleeping, Little by Little, Talk to Me, only 12 musical compositions. Interesting the history of the creation of a clip on hit Eyes on Fire. The shooting took place in Russia, in the capital of the Southern Urals, the main role in the video was performed by a local choreographer-ballerina Maria Greif. Later, Tobias revealed the reason for his interest in Chelyabinsk - at one time his grandmother was born here.
The next job appeared only 5 years later. In My Mind I Am Free album Music was distinguished by lyricity and pleasant velvet sound. Later in creating a clip on the Lost composition, Wilner took direct participation - he became the director and the operator of the video.
In 2012, the group visited Russia, where the musicians had a performance at the SCANDINAVIAN WAVE festival. A solo concert in Moscow has passed later, after 2 years. Tours in Russia lit on television. The team members became the guests of the broadcast of Morning TV on the TV channel, where they announced their concert in Yekaterinburg. Then the team visited Belarus. 15 years of the joint creative life of Tobias and Bo celebrated the summer tour, which was held in Hawaii.
In the concert program, not only popular team hits were used, but also songs from the new discus. In the same year, artists performed in Ukraine as part of the Festival of Koktebel Jazz Festival.
In the creation of the Album of Blood Moon, which appeared in 2016, Mark Kozhek, Eric Spring, Jonas Bjerre, Sonya Kitchell, Sarah Savury, participated. In support of the new Plate, Blue Foundation went on tour. The countries that they visited, entered Ukraine. In Kiev, a solo concert of the group was held.
Blue Foundation now
Now the Blue Foundation group does not reduce its creative activity. In 2018, a clip was presented for hit Brother & Sister. In 2019, the team released a new Silent Dream tool music album (Beats & Instrumentals).
Later, clips appeared on Hrönn and Where The End Begins. In addition to studio work, the group continues to tour worldwide. In April 2019, the musicians performed at the Gogolfest festival, which took place in Mariupol.
Blue Foundation Music Hits past years are not losing popularity today. So, the Russian figure skater Alain Kosostna chose the song on Eyes on Fire for his room. Together with the temper SuperMassive Black Hole, the British group Muse, this hit sounded in her short season.
