The history of the creation of Poets of The Fall (from the English "" Poets of the Autumn ") is an accident, seasoned with good dating. She originates on April 25, 2003 in the capital of Finland - Helsinki.
Marco Saarezto, a vocalist of the Finnish group Playground, was friends with the screenwriter of computer games themselves. One day he wrote for Remedy Entertainment Shooter Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, which became a cult. Yarvi had an idea, which song should pass the "red thread" on the game, he even composed poems, but did not have experience in creating music. Then the developer appealed to Saarezto.
Saarezto, enlisted by the help of a friend and guitarist Olli Tukyainen, wrote "Late Goodbye" per day. This ballast sounds in the game several times, but most often it is having a gangsters, when they do not kill anyone and do not speak.
"Late Goodbye" incredibly liked the producer Marcus Kaaronen, whom Saarezto and Tukyainen took a keyboard player. This is the classic composition of Poets of the Fall. Exactly 6 years after the release of "Signs of Life", the group released it on vinyl, calling "Alchemy Vol.1". The collection contains the entire video of Poets of the Fall, favorite songs of musicians and two new tracks: "No End, No Beginning" and "Can You Hear Me".
