Mikhail Mikhailovich Kaabak was born on April 14, 1966. In an interview with the Internet publication "Orthodoxy and the World", the surgeon was jokingly said that the choice of his profession was influenced by Mom. Career
A man began to engage in the transplantation of kidney back in 1991, when he worked as a surgeon in a children's hospital under the Ministry of Health of Russia. He then moved to the Russian center of Surgery named after Boris Petrovsky to the post of head of the kidney transplant department. The change in the place of work was associated with the expansion of the possibilities that RNCH provided. There, the Medic first began to operate children weighing less than 10 kg.The first attempts to conduct operations were not successful, the donor bodies were rejected by the organisms of small patients. But over the years of work, the transplantologist managed to develop a unique scheme of transplant procedure, which allowed to save the lives of thousands of sick children. This required the use of the drug "Alementuzumab", which allows the immune response to coal, which leads to the failure of the kidney.
In parallel, the surgeon was engaged in scientific activities. He headed the Department of the Russian State University of Medicine named after Nikolai Pirogov. The man was engaged in research on a kidney transplant procedure, wrote articles on this topic. The doctor became the author of the unique technique of transplantation of organs seized from dead people.
In the biography of the physician did not cost without dark spots. In 2012, Kaabak undertook to operate a teenager from the Republic of Mari El. The boy was transplanted by the kidney of the mother, but 3 months after the procedure and subsequent therapy, the woman demanded to remove the transplanted organ. As a result, the patient died a month after a forced statement. The mother of the boy accused the doctors of the RNCh in the death of the Son and demanded to recover 3 million rubles from the clinic.
And in November 2015, a criminal case was opened against Mikhail Mikhailovich, he was accused of negligence and the use of medical drugs without the permission of the parents of the teenager. After conducting numerous examinations of the lawyers of the surgeon managed to find evidence of his innocence, but the trial was delayed for years. During this period, Kaabak continued to work, saving the lives of children with kidney pathologies. Working in the RNCh, in parallel, he settled on 0.25 bets in the National Center for Children's Health.

In the fall of 2019, the transplantologist was supposed to go to a full bet in the NCD, pre-leaving the post from the RNCh. But the surgeon suggested that the event is associated with the use of Alementuzumab, which before that was not used to transplant organs in Russia.
The dismissal caused a perturbation from the families of the patients of Dr. Kaabak, who are in line for transplantation and are waiting for help now. They created in support of Mikhail Petition, which more than 500 thousand people signed.
