In the 2000s, the Finnish singer Villa Valo, known primarily as the founder and vocalist of the HIM group, was called the musical sex symbol of Finland, the standard of gothic culture, the inventor of the lava metal genre. Villa Hermanni Valo was born on November 22, 1976 in the capital of Finland - Helsinki. Anita's mother, a native of Hungary, worked as an administrator in a shoe store, and Father Kari left the driver's profession for the sake of opening a sex shop, in which Villa worked in youth.
A few months after the first primer on the world (Villa has a younger brother Jesse, born in 1983) Anita and Kari moved to the Oulunnun district. Later it was here that the boy went to school. The first acquaintance of the Villa with music was due to the father who loved Finnish folk artists. And at 8 years old, the boy bought the album "Animalize" (1984) of the KISS group, which has formed love for rock. His idol was the bassist Jean Simmons.
A boy who walked his parents for a long time to buy him a tool, and here the used guitar appeared in the hands of Villa. With her after the 2nd class, Valo went to a music school, where he met the future companion in the Micro Poianen group. The first musical experience of Villa Valo acquired even at school. His team B.L.O.O.O.D. (from English. "Blood"), consisting of children, gave only one concert in front of classmates.

Together they played in the Aurora group, and Valo - on the drums and bass. Valo scored basic education, focusing on music. In the free time from rehearsals, he listened to courses in the pop-jazz conservatory Helsinki, wanted to enter the highest school of music and dance Sibelius, but he did not accept him.
For the abominability and bad behavior at 13 years old, Villa was expelled from school. To somehow help the family, the boy settled in the sex shop Father. Music
The HIM group, or rather, its predecessor Super Gin Simmons's Offspring appeared in 1991. "His Satanic Majesty"). Continued the "dark" topic and the debut album of the team "Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666 ", which came out in 1997. On the record 9 songs are recorded, but after the last there are another 58 tracks (from 10 to 66). They do not have the names and are silence - everything, with the exception of the 66th. The total volume of music on the album is 666 megabytes.
This musical riddle liked listeners in Finland and Europe, so the next album HIM was doomed to success. Razorblade Romance, released in 2000, reached the 1st place in the charts of Finland, Austria and Germany. The single "Join Me in Death" became particularly popular, which is now considered to be a business card HIM.
Villa Valo Fucking Success did not please. In an interview with Dark City City, the singer said:
"HIM is not a single group. Soon we are most likely to surround mainstream urodes. Already, we receive messages in which we are reproaching that our song is broadcast in the transfer of TOP OF THE POPS. Many would like to see us in the underground. In 2010, HIM took a pause, because at the Mika Karppinen drummer diagnosed professional wrist injury. And in 2017 announced a decay.
On the official page on Facebook musicians wrote:

For Villa Valo, the end of HIM did not mean the completion of the musical career. Even in the early years, the vocalist collaborated with many groups under pseudonyms. Only fans who are familiar with the unique voice of Finn (in 2014, VVN Music recognized the owner of the 8th largest vocal range among famous singers), could recognize the "handwriting" of "His Satanic Majesty".
From 1997 to 2004, Valo sang on the back-vocal of The 69 Eyes (5 albums were recorded with it) and starred in their "Wasting the Dawn" video. In 1999, the vocalist joined the creation of the Freak Out plate Tehosekoitin, and in 2001 he played the drums for the Album "Death Of A Clown" of the Five Fifteen group. Villa even collaborated with the legends of the APCALYPTICA instrumental metal - along with Lauri Yulienne from The Rasmus sang Bittersweet.
There is in account of Valo and mainstream third-party projects, for example, Summer Wine's song, recorded with the Polish-German singer Natalie Alelon. Track became platinum in Germany.

Personal life

In March 2012, Valo met with the Paris model of Sandra Mittika. Relationships launched exactly 3 years. Since September 2016, the Crystel Karho model has become a new beloved. The first proof appeared in February 2017 - a joint photo with awarding the Emma Gala award. Feelings quickly faded, and now the lonely Valo.
Villa attributed a novel with Beam Margery, a famous Finnish skate course, but it is nothing more than rumors, men are only good friends.
For 10 years, since 2000, Villa Valo had alcohol problems. In a state of intoxication, the singer dropped out of windows, fought, did not eat weeks, worried nervous breakdowns. Thanks to the rehabilitation with the situation managed to cope. But another harmful habit - smoking - it is not amenable to a singer who, by the way, congenital asthma.
Valo - fan of tattoos. On his body at least 5 images with the HIM logo, the "sleeve" on the left hand, on the right - portraits Timo K. Mukkaya, Charles of Bodler and Charles Bukovski, on the back - the eyes of Edgar Allan Software, and on the chest - the face of Maya dend. Villa Valo now
In 1979, the Helsinki has formed a rock and roll Agents Group, the ideological inspirer and director of which is guitarist Es Pulliaine. The instrumental composition remains unchanged, but vocalists are regularly changing.In 2018, Agents invited Villa Valo. The first single came out with him in September and was called "Orpolapsi Kiurun". In February 2019, the release of the Album "Ville Valo & Agents" took place, which relies on the work of the late Legend of Finland - Rauli Badding Somerjoki. In less than a week later, the collection became gold, debuting in the 1st position in the national chart.
In March, Villa Valo and Agents went on tour in Finland. He lasted until August 2019.
