Yang Fabr was born on December 14, 1958 in Antwerp, Belgium. As a child, the boy was interested in the world of animals and insects, visited a local zoo. According to his statements, he became interested in entomology due to related bonds with Jean-Henri Fabr.
Another interest Jan was creativity. He studied art at the Municipal Institute and the Royal Academy of Native Antwerp. During this period, the young man started writing scenarios for theatrical productions and began to draw paintings, mainly a Bic ball handle.
Creation

The actors of the play "The Power of Theater Stillings" had to beat each other's scene and themselves. In the mid-1980s, Yang founded the TROUBLEYN group in Antwerp, called the famine of the artist's mother. The project was famous for the theatrical and choreographic productions created on the script of Fabra.
In the sculptures of the master, three main topics of his creativity are revealed: the strategy of war, the human body and the world of insects.
