"Troll Net Sel" - a Russian group of St. Petersburg, which plays the clockwork folk rock. The basis for the composition of the team is the ancient melodies of the Scandinavian countries and the Baltic States, which the musicians arrange under hard-fat motifs. The project participants call the genre in which the "beer folk".The history of creation and composition
The history of the new project began from the late 90s. At that time, Konstantin Rumyantsev, working under the nickname troll, swaying with the group Normans Land, thought about creating his own rock band. To work on a new project, the musician invited Maria Jetra Leonov. In a short time, the duet wrote 7 compositions.
In the spring of 2000, the group was supplemented by a drummer, and later a bassist. In 2001, a violinist came to the team. During the creative activity, the composition changed, but the chosen founder remained unchanged.
Music
Initially, the project was conceived as a team that performs the Scandinavian musical folklore in the original rock-metal arrangements. The musicians were not innovators in this direction, similar eclectic combinations were already considered traditional on an alternative rock scene. However, team members managed to make a memorable, original product, highly estimated by fans.The texts of the compositions, despite the fact that the musicians perform songs mainly in Russian, stylistically repeat the content of the Scandinavian and Finnish legends. Fascinating and mysterious characters from the Middle Ages, Dwarves and Trolls appear in the songs. Each composition is a separate story with the original story.
In 2003, the team publishes their debut album, which in a short time is divided into 5 thousand copies. The group represents the songs at the festivals of alternative music and fascinates the public to the unusual feeding of the material and incendaneous songs that call to go into the dance and from the soul to enjoy funny hearts with drinks.
During this period, the project participants come to accurately determine the group's style. Earlier to the team tried to attach such directions such as folk metal, folk punk, fantasy punk and others. But the musicians decided that, since in the texts of the compositions, a drink from hops, known since ancient times, the project genre will be denoted as "beer folk".
Konstantin Rumyantsev argued that the music created by the team should produce an effect on the public, which can be compared with the adoption of two bottles of a wonderful grinding drink - to merge and charge with energy. Such a concept of rock band "Troll Net Fir" is maintained throughout the work.
In 2011, the musicians released the fifth studio album, which included both the author's compositions and songs performed in a duet with a vocalist of the popular Finnish folk-rock band Korpiklaani Jonne Jervelm. On the song Ave Celia! From the new disk later removed the clip.
In the fall of 2013, the group presented to the fans to the "Crown Heart" plate, and next year she arranged a tour of Russia in Russia, in which the compositions from the new album were performed, as well as those who loved fans and tested hits. The growing popularity of the project prompted the participants not to delay the release of the following plates.
In 2016, the album "Karyalali" came out, and in 2018 - "Labyrinth Trolli". Both disks received high grades not only among the public, but also in musical critics.
