The history of the creation of a collective takes the beginning since 1999 in Orlando, USA. He was founded by school friends: vocalist Brad Luther, Drummer Travis Smith and Bassist Jarred Bonaparte.
Later they invited Matt Chifi as a guitarist. They were so impressed by the guy's game on the evening of talent, that even the difference at the age of 4 years did not become an obstacle to collaboration. After the departure of Solist Chifi took his place.
The composition of the group has changed repeatedly. In the first years of the speeches had to invite temporary bass players and guitarists.
Music
Already in 2001, Trivium released the first Mini-collection Ruber and signed a contract with the Lifeforce Records label. Shortly after the release, the musicians began a recording of the debut album Ember To Inferno, which was released in October 2003. At this time, the participants managed to find a constant guitarist measles. Then the bassist Paolo Gregoletto joined them, and the team went to the tour on heating from Machine Head.The second plate Ascendancy performers were released under the Roadrunner Records label. It entered the top 200 billboard and was highly appreciated by critics. Clip on the track Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr showed on MTV2 Headbanggers Ball. The composition has become a group business card.
Songs for Ascendancy wrote predominantly soloist Matt Chifi. He raised the themes of emotional disorders, family and political violence. The album recognized the best version of Kerrang magazine! To secure success, the participants created the Crusade record. Critics noted the cleaner voice of vocalist's voice. In support of the release, the team acted together with Metallica.
After the release of the SHOGUN album, a replacement occurred in the composition. Dr. Travis Smith left, whose place was accepted by Nika Augustus. Together they recorded the song Shattering The Skies Above, which became a soundtrack to GOD OF WAR III. The following plates in waves and Vengeance Falls were no less successful. Participants performed at Metaltown, Download and SoundWave festivals. During this period, it was necessary to look for a replacement drummer. Mat Madiro became them.
In the summer of 2015, the performers intrigued fans when they posted a picture with a hint of a new album in Facebook. A week later, the countdown was launched, after which Trivium revealed the name of the upcoming release and released the singles of Blind Leading the Blind, Dead and Gone and Until The World Goes Cold.
Already in October, the discography was replenished with Silence in The Snow. The musicians performed at Knotfest Mexico and launched the drummer again. The team was joined by Paul Vandtke, together with whom began work on the following records. Participants had to change the style of sound due to the injury of voice ligaments, which Matt Hifi received.
In the process of recording, the Vandtke announced care, so Alex Benta was called in his place. The Sin and The Santhence came out in October 2017. Quartet compositions are written mainly in the genres of metal, the trash and havi-metal.
Trivium now
In 2019, the team introduced the Singles I Don't Wanna Be Me, Drowning In The Sound and Kill The Poor. Track Betrayer nominated on Grammy, but in the end the other group won. Now the performers are preparing for the release of a new album. They actively lead the official website and page in "Instagram", where they are divided with fans of news and photos.
