The history of the creation of a collective began in 2005 with two comrades - the Mark of Prengasta and Steve Harrigan, who were friends from 8 years old and lived next to the Irish settlement of Sostr. The boys also went to school together, the love of music and creativity they woke up at the same time. They began to participate in all sorts of talent contests, went to children's festivals and tried to break into a large scene in every possible way. At the age of 14, friends got acquainted with Vincent Meam, who lived with them in the same village.
The team of three young musicians decides to create a group that was subsequently received the name of 21 demands. Later to young people joined a new member Jason Borend. Under the name 21 Demands, they performed until 2011, then renamed Kodaline.
The composition formed at the beginning of the career accompanied the team throughout his career. Harrigan took the singer, simultaneously playing the keyboard and rhythm guitar. In some tracks, you can hear his game on Mandolin and Garmonic. Prengaster also stands on the keyboards, and also complements the team as a back-vocalist and solo guitarist. Back-vocals Maya and Bolde sometimes appear in the songs, while the main tool Jason is a bass guitar, and Winnie - drums.

For the first time, it was worthy of declare itself about myself managed in 2006 on the TV show You're A Star, after the participation of the musicians appeared the first listeners. And after six months, they presented to the Single Give ME A MINUTE fans, which in a short time took the first line in the popular Irish Chart. Then, in support of the album, Kodaline organizes a concert in Dublin. Track All I Want also entered it and was subsequently used in the Catfish transfer on the MTV channel, in the 2nd series of the 9th season of the series "Anatomy of Passion" and in the 10th series of the 5th season "Vampire Diaries".
In 2013, the Kodaline team presented the listeners at once 4 mini-albums, and in December 2014 released the COMING UP FOR AIR studio plate. In 2017, the BROTHER track release was released, which later entered the third full-length album Politics of Living 2018.
