Biography

Russian musician, producer and TV presenter Oleg Nesterov is known to lovers of domestic rock as the founder and leader of the Megapolis group. In addition, in the creative collection of a talented representative of the Moscow intelligentsia, there are historical novels "Heavenly Stockholm" and "Skirt", as well as the promotion of well-known musical groups.

Childhood and youth

Oleg Nesterov's biography began in Moscow on March 9, 1961. As a child, he studied at a specialized school, where teaching was conducted in German. In recent years of stay in this institution, together with other outstanding classmates, the guy was lucky to visit Germany, and he was addicted to foreign creativity, giving preference to literature and music.

The need to get a decent profession forced Oleg to enter the Institute of Communications and Informatics. Only after his end, worked out a couple of years at the telephone station, he ventured on changes in the biography and created the first independent concert project.

In order to competently organize the work of young musicians who joined him, Nesterov was trained in the studio of jazz improvisation, which gave the necessary experience and knowledge used in creative practice in the next few decades.

Creation

In 1985, having started a creative career in the Megapolis group, Nesterov quickly gained fame as an instrumentalist, vocalist, composer and frontman. He guided the album records and wrote tracks performed at concerts, one of which in the 90s won the Golden Gramophone Prize.

By improving the work of my own team, the musician took up the production of other teams, and among the first to the "Snegiri-music" created by him, Masha Makarov, Nike Borzov, Alina Orlova and the Underwood Quartet, came. As a result, more than a hundred successful releases published in a variety of genres amounted to the creative catalog of Nesterov Organization, which in 2000 spawned the Light label, glorifying the group "Knife for Frau Muller".

Other discoveries of the MEGAPOLIS leader were "Spring on Karl Yuhan Street", Igor Vedovin and Oleg Kostov, as well as an ensemble of electronic music, created at the broadcasting studio, which came to the listeners on Easy USSR and Easy USSR Part II records.

These publications found in the archives of state funds pushed Nesterov to create modern collections, and in 2000 he released several plates of such a format, including the "first guitar in the USSR". And then in the walls of the already famous creative company, representatives of chanson and "wild" music appeared: "The biggest simple number", Karl Hlamkin, Gudgha Burduli and "Galonko Orchestra".

Working with new performers forced the producer to compare them with the stars of the past. Nostalging about great musicians, he launched TV shows "People of Time", "For the Waves of My Memory", "Life as in Cinema" and "Golden Vinyl".

And in 2006, the thirst for creativity pushed Oleg to become a writer and release the musical and historical novel "Skirt" on the formation of tastes in pre-war Germany, then he was nominated in the category "Writer of the Year" for alternative prose "Heavenly Stockholm".

In the 2010, initiated by the creation of a project called "Chapel of the Berlin Post Roads", where German songs with saved past years have been translated into Russian, Nesterov began to write tracks for cinema and teach the course in the International Metropolitan Business School. In addition, he lectured in the Office of the Moscow State University at the Department of Media Theory, and also collaborated with the laboratory at the Wordshop Communications Institute.

In 2014, with the musicians from Megapolis, Oleg began studying music to unnotes or unfinished Soviet films and replenished the discography of the group with a multi-format project "From the life of the planets". This work was presented in the form of a double plate and its stage incarnation, where Nesterov made a producer and poet.

In an interview with Nesterov journalists, avoid questions relating to personal life and infrequently posts family photos in VKontakte, in Twitter and Instagram. Together with his wife Natalia, he raised his daughter Elena, who from childhood he was interested in creativity, following his father's footsteps.
