The history of the creation of a distinctive American team began with the fact that the manager and producer Kevin Klamen, a former Vocalist agent Steve Harwell from the disbanded team called F.S., introduced his ward with Gitarist Greg Camp and the bassist les leisil. They were members of the Lackadaddy group, playing punk and rock style.
Having discussed a joint future, in 1994 the musicians started rehearsals by choosing the SMashmouth football term as the name. Music

In 2003, after the release of the Plate GET THE PICTURE? And the presentation of singles You Are My Number One, Always Gets Her Way and Hang On, Smash Mouth broke the relationship with the original producers and signed a contract with Universal Records.
Deciding that this event marked the end of the 1st stage of the creative career, the musicians have replenished the discography of the All Star Smash Hits, consisting of the most popular and favorite songs, as well as a Christmas record with Cavers on Matrov, published by Gift of Rock.
