"140 blows per minute" is a Russian pop-group that creates incendiary dance compositions in disco and Dance genres. The music team was formed in 1999 in Moscow. The author of the group was a talented and creative musician, composer and producer Sergey Konev. In the early period of creativity with the performer, Yuri Abramov and Yevgeny Krasnik were cooperating. Later the group has changed, Konev invited Andrei Ivanov as a new soloist.
Music
As the main musicians chose disco style, the most demanded at the turn of the Millennium. The first single "Poplar", created in 1999, brought the team popularity. From this song, the project participants took 3rd place in the Golden Gramophone Hit-parade. The composition fell into the rotation of many radio stations, the listeners often ordered the track. However, in the same year, the singer Alena Apina came out with the same name.In addition, in 1999, the song of the Ivanushki International group "Topolina Pooh" appeared on Ether. Therefore, there was often misunderstandings in the radio funds - the fans of the team "140 shots per minute" asked for the leading to put "Poplar", and eventually heard the compositions of Apina or Ivanoshek. Nevertheless, this did not prevent the growth of the fame of the young metropolitan team - the army of fans of the dance trio grew everything more confident.
On the year of the project, a debut plate with the name "in one breath", which received many positive feedback was published. In the spring of next year, the musicians released a new album "real-time", which included seven incendiary and dynamic tracks. The participants of the group began to perform often with concerts, both with solo and national teams. The growth of the interest of the public to the team prompted Sergey Konev to release another new dimension disk in 2000.
At the same time, the director Alexander Mysudine removed the video for the composition "Wau Wa", which became released. Dynamic video immediately became viral. Deciding not to stop at the most reached, in the spring of 2001, musicians represent the fans the next album consisting of remixes on previously created tracks. In August of the same year, the project released the fifth record called "High Voltage".
Songs from this album were created in the traditions of Western dance electronic music. Musicians continued to cooperate with Alexander Izdin, who removed the video to the composition "Do not go crazy." Without ceasing to actively work on a new material, constantly experimenting, the group in the fall of 2001 recorded the sixth plate "Immersion in Love". And again the release of the release did not cost without the release of the clip.
The team members performed not only their own compositions, but also made creative remixes on the composition of other stars of the domestic disco. A vivid example of this was the album "Disco 140 beats per minute", which received a lot of enthusiastic responses. In subsequent years, the tendency of several albums per year has been preserved in the work of the team.
In addition to rehearsals and the preparation of musical material, the participants performed at the festivals of alternative music, gave concerts in the capital clubs, left the country around the country. The group compositions regularly fell into leading Russian charts. Albums of 2018 were no less popular and demanded than early releases.
"140 beats per minute" now
In 2019, the musicians pleased fans with a new album called "nonsense". The plate is constructed in the stylistics of previous releases, tracks, as before, are styling and filled with drive.
