Emil Vladimirovich Lotano - Soviet film director, screenwriter and poet of Moldavian origin. The creator of films "Tabor goes into the sky", "My tender and gentle beast."

Emil was born on November 6, 1936 in the village of Klokushna, which is located on the territory of Bessarabia not far from the border with Bukovina. Boy's parents worked teachers. In 1966, the second painting of the young director "Red Polyany" comes to the screens of Soviet cinema.
