This monster came up with Japanese artist Masahiro Ito. The main idea of the developer was to come up with a hero with a closed face, which attached a character of some mystery, but the first sketches of Masahiro were far from the final version of the pyramido-head.
Initially, the artist was obtained on a sheet of paper by the artist, and not a monster; Therefore, inspired by the works of Francis Bacon, Ito came up with a brilliant move, making a huge red pyramid instead of the alleged head, with sharp corners and straight faces, which, according to the artist himself, point to the experienced pain.
When Masahiro developed a helmet, he also drew attention to the body of the German tank "Tiger II" - the armor machine of the Second World War. By the way, some journalists compared the antagonist from Silent Hill with Darth Vader and a leather face from the Texas Renaire Massacre.
What a monster looks like without a helmet - it remains only to guess, for the Japanese did not make any hints, and the pyramidogol himself is extremely closer. In the entire history of films and games, the hero did not say a single word: in rare cases, it is heard only ineffective rice and moans.

Actor Guy Sihi, who voiced the protagonist, called this virtual opponent a triangular guy, and the director of the film Christophe Gan gave a monster the concise name - Red P (Reduction from Red Pyramid). The hero, who first debuted in the game "Silent Hill 2", made a lot of noise and soon began to go beyond the second part of Horror.
